What are we going to do with all of this FURNITURE?

Over the course of the past year, I have been cataloging every item of furniture in my apartment, including a description of each item, its name, designer, manufacturer, and measurements. Together, this information represents a catalog of everything that makes up my current home.
Upon entering, guests will find photographic representations of every item in my apartment. These two dimensional photographs are printed to scale and framed allowing the representations to occupy the same space, and some to function as the physical objects they’ve replaced. With this project, I use the photograph as a documentation of my home, removing the essence of time to eternalize myself through objects, and inviting the viewer into arranged worlds that they can never fully access.
